Will the usa be ruined one day ?
Many experts say that the USA will be ruined shortly because of their military expenditures and they will be unable to borrow infinite amounts of money and the world trade/exchange systems will collapse.
What do you think ?
As many people have just seen the movie 300, (i havent but i proboly will), there is a connection between the US and all great powers. Thoughout history there has been a dynastic cycle of control. And it seems that it comes through with every major worldly power. As with Persia and the Battle of Thermopolite (300), before this they were considered the strongest power in the world with an empire spanning from East Asia to the Mediteranean. Is there a Persian Empire today? No. However, my favorite example is the Romans. I can say that we are the new Romans. Everyone hates and fears us, and here is the scary part. The reason for Roman downfall came from A. The Germanic tribes to their north invaded. These weren’t particularly sophistacated people, they were actually considered barbarians. Can you see the similarities between the Tribes and the middle east? B. The roman people also lost their power because they relied so much on their slaves, no advancements were made in their technology. can we relate these slaves to our country’s Mexican immigrant’s? they are now the only people who live here that aren’t lazy bums. Because they now control all of the hard working jobs the middle and upper class, or the white folks with all the money have become to lazy. C. The Romans had one of the best armies in world history, as does the us. And as the romans we had extended our power to places we cant control (middle east). our organized fighting style has no chance against the gorrilla warfare used by suicide bombers and terrorist groups. D. I can’t leave out that many nations come to a crashing end because of a weak leader, Bush has really given our country a huge problem. With so many enemies, we really cant survive as a nation.
